The Inside Scoop

It took awhile to get back to the traditional music. In fact,I wanted to be a rock musician during my teenage years. That however, proved to be a very rocky road and I met unsavory characters along the way. Luckily,I had studied classical guitar at McCabes in Santa Monica, and I got a good exposure to Old Time,Folk, and Bluegrass music there. It stuck.
I worked "regular" jobs for over 20 years which led nowhere.
Hard times in my life led me gradually back to playing traditional music- on mandolin, banjo, guitar, then fiddle, and viola. I quit the last horrific job I held in 2012 and made a declaration to the Universe that I was ready to serve, and be served using my musical gifts.
